Your tips Get a transport card - use the trams & buses - try lots of restaurants & bars (but try not to spend too much).
Generally, Enjoy!!
Amsterdam has one of the best public transport systems around. Cheap & reliable, the 72 hour card is great value. Friendly people, speaking enough English to be helpful, but making sure Dutch is the first language, so you need to give it a try which is good for lazy English speakers!
The RAI was an experience - huge, but very well organised. lots of information available, but felt a little short on seating in the catering areas.
Main problem was that Amsterdam was generally very expensive for eating & drinking - much higher prices than in many other European cities.
Reports are typically addressed within 72 hours, pending approval.
