Your tips During 'Semana Santa' many stores and restaurants are closed. Keep that in mind when you visit the city around Easter.
Panama city is a bit lacking the charm of the rest of the country. It is a nice enough place to start your journey through Panama, but I would advice to see the rest of the country which has much more charm than the capital. Do not miss the old part of Panama City 'casco viejo'!
