Been to AMS many times , however have to say this will be our last, its now incredibly over rated and well over priced, its not worth the journey or expenses, eating out in Amsterdam, will hurt your pocket big time
a sandwich shop 23 euros for a piece of pizza a small sandwich and a cake
15 euros for 2 flamed burgers and two hot chocs , not forgetting they charge 50 cents for tomato sauce

your hotel will slug you 6.50 for a beer from the mini bar or 3.00 for a water plus around 8 euros each city taxes as you check out
