People here treat each other like dirt, and the city itself is equally dirty. There are a few super-rich people who exuberantly flaunt their wealth while the rest remain in poverty. There's very little cultural value to seeing the city, but since I'm a sucker for Russian literature I found it appealing walking the same streets as Dostoevsky once did. The food is absolutely horrible, and the prices for just about everything are unbelievably high.
