Sus consejos:Take lots of pictures and videos. Go to the Rijksmuseum and the Diamond Museum. Take a trip or two on the canal boats. Go the the street markets and take plenty of Euro or credit cards and be prepared to shop. Also beware of pickpockets so have a secure bag or discreet place to put your wallet or card holder.
I arrived on a sunny afternoon after a very quick flight with KLM. I explored the shops, walked along the canals and through the Vondelpark and rested in the cafes. During my stay I travelled by train, tram and boat. I was impressed by the smoothness of transport connections, loved watching the many cyclists and boats and enjoyed a trip on a canal boat which took us as far as the harbour where a massive cruise liner was in dock. I loved the quaint shops, bridges and general quirkiness of the place. The people are friendly and most of them communicate easily in English. It's a clean, bright, lively place with culture, music and places to relax in. The street markets are great too.
