I have traveled to Amsterdam many times now. And, each time I discover something new and find hidden gems. One thing that never changes is the the cozy feeling only Amsterdam can give! I have met the loveliest people when I ventured outside the touristy areas. Traveling solo? No problem. Amsterdam has proven to be very safe! If you think you know all there is to know about this fabulous city...go again. There's always more!
